In today’s scenario, many of the schools are either concentrating on “Only academics without activities” or “More activities with less academic rigour”. We from VGI, the senior academicians, designed an academic structure which focusses on “in-depth academic rigour as well as well-planned curricular/co-curricular/extra-curricular activities”. Thus, we have designed a balanced curriculum to prepare our children for the 21st Century with our holistic approach.

Homework helps students develop self-reliance and work skills. Typically, the amount of homework increases as the student advances in age and grade levels. However, homework need not necessarily mean written work. It will include reading assignments, preparing for class, collection of material for projects, conducting interviews etc. Details of our homework policy will be made available after the admission.
At VGI, we integrate a wide range of activities within our overall educational programme. The following is a part of the curriculum for children. We organise a wide range of activities with in depth academic rigour. We provide holistic education which prepare our students for the 21st century. Complete chart of activities conduction will be provided to students in the beginning of every term.
We pay our teachers amongst the highest in the sector. This ensures that we attract a good talent pool. We see teachers as co-constructors of curriculum. So, all teachers involved have to be trained at workshops held in & out of school. In addition to this, we have a continuous & rigorous in-house training as well as external trainings programs for teachers. We recruit teachers, who thoroughly understand our ideology and also agree to abide by our norms and commit to remain with us at the time of signing an agreement. We do our best to provide teachers with a healthy growth environment to ensure long-term commitment with the organization. We invest a lot of time, energy and resources in training our teachers and would not like to see them leave. Apart from this, teachers are also provided facilities like subsidized fee for their children, loans whenever necessary etc. Therefore, we are quite confident of retaining our teachers to the extent possible.
We follow blended teaching with the use of e-Learning techniques. Classrooms fitted with digital and ICT aids (smart classes). In these classrooms, teachers use a variety of digital aids - images, video, and PPT presentations to augment their teaching. We provide a well-equipped computer lab and Robotics Lab. However, we believe that the technology can’t replace a teacher.
Our campus is fully under CCTV surveillance and continuous monitoring of the campus is done by responsible Security personnel.

3.The granting of admission into school depends on the performance of the child in the previous school and performance in the screening test
4.Entry to VGI does not solely depends on screening test marks, it depends on the willingness of the child to learn at his/her best and his/her willingness towards School’s traditions, rules and regulations. The final decision is with the Management in this regard.

Please have a look at the bus routes before deciding on transport facility.

We consider parents as valued partners in the child's education. Apart from the new admission workshops, parents are required to compulsorily attend the New Parent Orientation Seminar at the beginning of the academic year in June, so that they know exactly what the school will offer over the year. The school also conducts Parents Teacher Meetings (PTM) twice a year to update parents on the role of parents through parenting modules in every meeting as well as discussing new initiatives and other important processes that parents need to be involved in the school. We also have Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC), Parent Teacher Interactions (PTI). Apart from PTM & PTC/PTI, parents need to come to school to encourage their children for various events like Sports Day, student performances and exhibitions related to their curriculum. The parent however is free to seek an appointment from the teacher if there is any issue, which needs to be dealt with immediately.
Viswa Gurukul – i School has specially designed program “Integrity In Me (INIM)”. The program aims to develop students who can lead their own lives with responsibility, who can work well with others and who show right behaviour. We help to make our students international minded, who care for the world around them. Value and character building is at the heart of everything we do. We do not treat this as a separate subject, but as something that each teacher and individual in school must be a role model, and must teach in their interactions on a day to day basis with the students
Our exam pattern is as per CBSE guidelines. We conduct both MCQ based and Descriptive exams. All MCQ based exams are computer based exams. We believe that examinations only help in assessing the knowledge acquired by children and fail to gauge the overall personality and growth of the child. In our school the child's progress is constantly monitored to understand the difficulties that the child faces in learning. We retrace footsteps and modify the teaching methods to suit the child's learning style. Child's progress is shared with parents regularly.
Students of VGI should compulsorily adhere to the rules and regulations of the School. Pivotal issues on our Zero Tolerance Policy are
1) Use, Possession or trafficking of drugs/tobacco/alcohol
2) Plagiarism of any kind, even home-work
4) Damage/misuse of School Property
All classrooms have 2 to 3 students who are learning at a faster pace than the rest of the class and 2 or 3 students who learn at slower pace. Unless such children are engaged and their needs addressed, they display problem behaviours inside and outside class We have counsellors to address learning disabilities. We have designed special patterns to suit the pace of each student whether they are gifted or slow learner.
